Big thanks to my ever-patient study partners, Adele and Athena, for helping me find the dress. Finding one involved scheduling, driving, map navigating, getting into a dress (getting out of it lol), photo shooting and, of course, BARGAINING! The Winner is Dress #5
Our end-of-semester PARTY was held at the Mexican Cafe. The staff were overwhelmed by the number of medical students that ve crowded the little place... There was a large turnover of Tequila shots to wash away all the learned material of Semester 1 and the horrid exam experience!
The Ball/ Masquerade was a lot fun. It was on a floating dock; there was on open bar and good food; and everyone had to wear a mask.
One of the best Birthday presents I've ever received - sailing out to watch dolphins and whales in NEW ZEALAND!!! Holy Barnacles! Whales were a little shy to show themselves but dolphins were ahead of the boat competing with it and with one another! So much fun!
In the background, you can see Rangitoto volcano, which was successfully conquered in 3 hrs by me, Chris and Joy-Anne (Chris' sister). It was quite hot, but I can only imagine how hot it gets in summer when the heat is absorbed by the black lava...
Mr. Loftus (my Grade 12 Physics teacher at Wexford C.I.) used to say:" Time flies when you are having fun!" - he was talking about physics of course! ....And every time I try to quote him, smth different comes out like: " Time is fun having flies!" LOL Time definitely flies on this side of the hemisphere; I am 2 month away from finishing my Year 2 of Medicine! I decided to update the blogger in response to numerous requests. I ve also added Chris Kelly's link on the right - http://chriskelly-ckpost.blogspot.com/ Enjoy :) (with or without flies! lol)
